Be the Change: Launch a “Swap Spot” in Your Local Community
Do you have a heart for practical kindness, community connection, and simple acts of generosity that make a lasting difference? At Faithborne, we’re on a mission to bring dignity, hope, and practical support to communities across the UK and beyond - and we’re inviting volunteers like you to be part of it.
We’re currently seeking volunteers in counties across the UK to help us set up Swap Spots in their local churches.
What’s a Swap Spot?
A Swap Spot is a designated area in a church or community space where people can give and take freely - from clothes and household items to school supplies and baby goods. It’s a beautifully simple idea: “Take what you need. Leave what you can.”
Each Swap Spot also helps support wider mission. A percentage of all donations go toward trusted charities working in the UK and overseas - so even surplus becomes seed.
We Need Your Help To:
Coordinate donations at your church
Deliver surplus items to local partner charities or drop-off points
Be a friendly, local presence for those using the Swap Spot
All fuel costs and printed set-up materials are covered by Faithborne, so you’re never out of pocket - we just need your heart, hands, and a few hours a month.
