About Faithborne

Mission-Focused & Warm

Faithborne is a Christian charity dedicated to equipping underserved communities with the tools, supplies, and support they need to build lasting hope. Whether it’s providing work tools, everyday essentials, or encouragement through prayer, we believe practical help - given in love - can spark long-term transformation. Our mission is rooted in faith and guided by compassion, with a focus on helping people not just survive but truly thrive. From remote villages overseas to overlooked corners closer to home, we respond to needs both great and small, knowing that every act of generosity can plant a seed of dignity, purpose, and hope. Through partnerships, prayer, and action, Faithborne seeks to be a visible expression of God’s care in every place we serve.

UK & Global Dual Focus

We believe hope travels. From UK homes to remote villages abroad, Faithborne exists to bridge generosity with need - connecting those who have a heart to give with communities longing to grow. Whether it’s sending work tools, school supplies, or basic equipment overseas, or coming alongside UK churches to serve local families, we believe in practical mission rooted in lasting relationship. Our work is shaped by prayer, fuelled by compassion, and driven by a simple belief: God’s love becomes visible when we show up with open hands and willing hearts. Through every parcel, partnership, and prayer, we carry hope - not just in moments of crisis, but in the everyday rebuilding of lives.

Spiritually Rooted

Isaiah 1:17 (NIV): “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.”

Why it matters: God’s idea of righteousness is inseparable from caring for the vulnerable.

Isaiah 58:10 (NIV): “If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.”

Why it matters: Helping the poor brings personal renewal and reflects God’s light.

James 2:15–17 (NIV): “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”

Why it matters: Real faith moves us to meet practical needs.

Guided by Isaiah 1:17, Isaiah 58:10, and James 2:15-17, Faithborne was founded on the belief that restoring dignity and meeting practical needs is an act of worship. We bring together faith, generosity, and community to serve those who need a hand up - not just in crisis, but in the quiet, everyday challenges of life.

Founders’ Story

Faithborne was founded by James and Victoria Moy, a husband-and-wife team passionate about practical mission and everyday faith. Victoria runs a boutique PR company in London and volunteers with children in her spare time. James, a former firefighter turned pilot, also drums in his local church worship team and helps with children’s groups. They live between Sussex and Oxfordshire with their two daughters and share a heart for building lasting connections between generous hearts in the UK and communities in need overseas.
